Locally owned and operated by Susan and Ken Rodriguez, Heartbeat's staff includes Daughter Krista Lewis.

No strangers to the retail apparel business, the Rodriguez family has been a part of some of the country's most exciting and dynamic retail concepts.

Ken's retail background included 24 years with Merry Go Round Enterprises, where he culminated his stay as President of the Cignal Division.

Today, Ken continues to consult with many fine specialty stores as the sole proprietor of Rodriguez Retail Consulting Group.

Along the way he has worked and consulted for a variety of retailers and manufacturers including, American Eagle Outfitters and Tommy Bahama.

Susan also has an extensive retail background that has included, planning, distribution and buying.

Active in the community, Heartbeat has supported numerous local organizations such as the Chesapeake Cancer Alliance, The Arc, Upper Cheasapeake Health Foundation and numerous other school and community charities.
